The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless alum Adrienne Frantz announced she’s expecting her second child last month. In an update, the soap star admitted that being pregnant during the coronavirus is not easy. She also explained some precautions she is taking and is determined to stay strong.

Frantz, who portrayed Amber Moore on B&B and Y&R announced in March that she and husband Scott Bailey (ex-Sandy Foster, Guiding Light) are expecting another bundle of joy. The two have a daughter named Amelie, who was born on December 1, 2015. The birth was happy news, especially after the couple dealt with two devastating pregnancy losses.

The couple previously went through two miscarriages, one in 2013 and another in 2014. However, Frantz decided to turn the loss into something positive. She opened up about her experiences in order to help others who were going through the same thing.

On Twitter, Frantz admitted that being pregnant during the coronavirus pandemic is not easy. The actress explained that she has to work hard to remain calm. As everyone knows, that is difficult to do considering how COVID-19 is sweeping the globe. Add to that the hormones that rage through a woman’s body when she is pregnant and it can make the situation even harder. But it seems like Frantz is doing a great job!

The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless alum explained that she is being careful amid the coronavirus pandemic. She goes to her doctor’s visits alone and is doing her best to stay healthy.

She also admitted that she has those pregnancy hormones that can make staying calm difficult. But she is focused on doing the best she can.

B&B Spoilers – Alum Staying Strong

Frantz wrote on Twitter that despite being pregnant during a global crisis, she is staying strong for her 4-year-old daughter. She wrote on Twitter,

“#pregnantduringapandemic not so easy. I have to try hard to keep myself calm. W pregnancy hormones, doc apts alone, & the normal panic attacks that settle in at some point of the day. I try to stay strong & happy for my little 4-year-old girl. Blessed to have my family! #staysafe”
