Sarah Ferguson is going to be a grandmother! The Duchess of York recently reacted to her daughter Princess Eugenie and son-in-law Jack Brooksbank’s news that they are expecting their first child together. Here’s what she has to say.

Of course, it didn’t take very long for Sarah to respond to the exciting news on her Instagram page. She shared a recent photo of the parents-to-be on her social media account and captioned the post with, “I am so excited by the news that Eugenie and Jack are expecting their first child. Thrilled for them both and in my 60th year cannot wait to be a grandmother. Welcoming a new baby into the York family is going to be a moment of profound joy.”

Many of Sarah’s social media followers were just as excited as she was, as they also congratulated the young couple and Sarah too, as she will be a first-time grandmother. Some comments included, “Congratulations to the happy couple. I just became a grandmother too and it is a totally new kind of love that I can’t even describe. You are going to be a wonderful grandmother Sarah, I can see it already,” along with, “A huge congrats to all. So this is why Eugenie has been looking so happy and radiant lately. Pregnancy definitely suits her. I am so excited about the Yorks.”

Another fan wrote, “I am so happy for them both. They are going to be such wonderful parents and it’s without any doubt that you are going to be a great-grandma to Sarah. I can see you doting on your grandchild already. A beautiful moment for all.”
