Royal Family News: Three Times The Royal Family Flubbed COVID Protocol

British royal family news reveals that the United Kingdom’s royal family isn’t perfect. In the time of COVID they have worked diligently to spread the word of the dangers of the virus and have been a shining light of hope for a country battered by the pandemic. Except when they weren’t.

Here are three times the royals flubbed up as responsible role models in terms of the pandemic.

#1 Prince Harry Declared A Stunning Stinker

According to miseducated Prince Harry, “Things are better than we’re led to believe,” about the pandemic that claimed millions of lives in a matter of months.

In April he told the Declassified podcast that the media were being too negative about COVID, and if “you are on the right platforms, you can really sense this human spirit coming to the forefront.”

“It’s also proving that I think things are better than we’re led to believe through certain corners of the media. It can be very worrying when you’re sitting there and the only information you are getting is from certain news channels.”

“But then if you are out and about or you are on the right platforms, you can really sense this human spirit coming to the forefront.”

The day Harry aired his laughable opinion, nearly 600 people died of coronavirus in the U.K., bringing its total to 16,060.

#2 Prince William And His Wife Kate Middleton Raised Ire By Taking A Train Tour Of Britain

William and Kate The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge went on a royal train tour in December to thank frontline workers for tackling coronavirus. Not everyone was thankful for their effort however.

In both Scotland and Wales they were accused of breaking COVID travel restrictions. Vaughan Gething, the Welsh health minister, told BBC Radio 4: “I’d rather that no one was having unnecessary visits, and people always have divisive views about the monarchy. But their visit isn’t an excuse for people to say that they are confused about what they are being asked to do.”

#3 Princess Beatrice’s Dinner Out With Beyoncé’s Stylist

Princess Beatrice, daughter of Prince Andrew, was criticized after she enjoyed a lavish public dinner out with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and other VIPs who apparently the COVID restrictions don’t apply to.

They were photographed indoors at a London restaurant despite a ban on indoor gatherings of people who live in different households. Royal sources told The Sun the dinner was work related, so the rules didn’t apply. Social media comments revealed much of the public thought otherwise.
