British Royal family reveals let’s face it: there just won’t be another person in this world that will ever come close to being the next Princess Diana. Not only was she one-of-a-kind, but she was a legend in the making without even realizing it. The Crown Season 4 has certainly reminded us of all the reasons why we loved and still love Princess Diana.

But with that said, the series has also shown a side that we might have heard about, but certainly haven’t seen, and that’s all of the fights she had with her husband Prince Charles along with her own struggles behind closed doors at Buckingham Palace. With that said, here are five reasons why The Crown Season 4 has made many fans pity Princess Diana.

#1 Camilla, The Woman Who Would Become Queen

While there’s no doubt that royal fans were rooting for Prince Charles and Princess Diana during their marriage, some believed that no matter what Diana said or did, Charles would always have Camilla in the back of his mind. It was tough to watch some of the scenes with Diana and Camilla together, especially knowing just how their fate would work out.

#2 She Was A Lonely Princess In An Even More Lonely Palace

Princess Diana was celebrated for many different reasons, but mostly because she apparently had the dream life that everyone wanted. But as we see in The Crown Season 4, Diana was a lonely princess in an even more lonely palace. The scenes of her skating around were certainly fun to watch though.

#3 She Was Full Of Love, But Just Wasn’t Loved In Return

One of the many reasons why so many people fell in love with Princess Diana was because she was truly the queen of hearts. She was full of love, but she just wasn’t loved in return. At least, that’s how the series portrayed it, especially with all of the brutal and emotional fights between her and Prince Charles.

#4 Jealousy Is An Ugly Disease

While many would say that Princess Diana had everything that any woman would want – from the jewels, the tiara, and the beauty – she was always very jealous of Prince Charles’ mistress, Camilla Parker Bowles. She could have any man in the world, but the man she had insisted on being with another woman.

#5 She Was Much Bigger Than The Royal Family

Let’s face it: Princess Diana was always – and will always be – the star of the royal family. Even though she hasn’t been with us for many years now, it goes without saying that Diana was much bigger than the royal family and that might be the reason why she didn’t “fit in” with the firm.
