To make matters worse, the pre-school at which Prince Harry and Meghan planted flowers is a school that enables children in need to receive educational services. Parents were understandably angered when photos surfaced of Harry and Meghan Markle planting flowers next to the kids. This is because the school had asked parents not even to accompany their special needs children into the school building when dropping them off for the day.
Everyone today recognizes that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are more privileged than just about anyone else on the entire planet. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex break British Royal Tradition and literally nothing happens to them. It’s like the pair can spit in the face of Queen Elizabeth and she’ll smile blandly, wipe off the insult, and carry on as if nothing had happened. The same could be said for Prince Charles who is apparently Sussex’s personal ATM.
Then Prince Harry and Meghan Markle head over to America, to one of the strictest states in terms of Covid-19 lockdowns, and there the pair proceeds to thumb their noses at rules all those “peasants” must abide by. It’s been said before, but it may as well be said again that Prince Harry and Meghan have a terrible “Do as I say, not as I do” mentality.
It’s no wonder parents of the children at the Assistance League Preschool Learning Center in Los Angeles were so upset. Take for example, what one parent Tweeted out following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s visit:
“I could not even hold my daughter’s hand and take her into school last week when she started kindergarten. These two just ‘turn up and break the rules’ whenever they feel like it?”
In response, another parent wrote, “Exactly I can’t take a pencil to my child right now. NO visitors. No exceptions.”
Flouting Covid-19 rules by those in authority or by those with high social status seems to be a trend. As many now know, following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ill-advised rule-breaking at the Assistance League Preschool Learning Center, it wasn’t long before Democratic Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi flaunted the Coronavirus rules in San Francisco.
The area’s Congresswoman went in to have her hair done, in a hair salon that’s been closed for months due to Covid-19 and didn’t wear a mask. Ms. Pelosi then proceeded to blame the hair salon’s owner for her own behavior.
The point is that the elite and privileged among us apparently believe, as Pelosi, Meghan, and Harry seem to, that rules are meant for “everyone else but me.”
As yet another parent raged, “BS kids in the US have no clue what a Duke/Duchess even is but they can come in when I can’t…for a pic?!?”
And, yet another Tweeted, “I think any charity for children is lovely, kudos for that. But… did they really need to have their favorite photographer there? And why, if the school children’s own parents aren’t allowed inside due to COVID, they are there, with their photographer??”
One has to wonder when the masses will stand up and say enough is enough, and that Royals like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and elected officials like Nancy Pelosi, on both sides of the pond must be held to the same standards as even the lowliest in society.
