Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have inked a $150 million dollar deal with online streaming giant Netflix and while there were some initial reports that said the couple was planning to do a reality show as part of that deal, they recently confirmed that it’s not happening.

But, that doesn’t mean we won’t be seeing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the small screen at all. Here are four (of just many reasons) as to why Harry and Meghan should consider doing a reality show, even if it’s more of a documentary about their philanthropic endeavors. A reality show would give both fans and critics alike an opportunity to see a different side to her personality, or better yet, the ‘real her’ that you don’t get to see in the media.

A lot of people still can’t help but wonder if Prince Harry is enjoying his new life in sunny South California, or if he’s missing the comfort of the London rain back at home. A reality show would give Prince Harry an opportunity to state his real reasons for leaving the royal family behind.

It doesn’t matter if you love them or hate them, or just want to see more or less of them, a reality show, or even a documentary, would dispel all of the tabloid rumors that have been made about them. And let’s face it: there’s been plenty of reports suggesting everything from Harry being lonely to an impending royal divorce.

It Would Give Them The Control They Want

Perhaps most important, a Sussex reality show would give Prince Harry and Meghan Markle the control that they want, especially when it comes to their personal narrative. They would not only star in it, but they would produce it and have the final say when it came to what goes in and what gets edited out.
