Congratulations are in order for Princess Beatrice who has had her turn at blushing bride when no one was looking! That’s right, the beautiful daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi today in a private ceremony.
Buckingham Palace confirmed the nuptials which took place on the morning of Friday, July 17, 2020.
Princess Beatrice And Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi Marry In Private Royal Wedding
The private summer wedding was executed as a Plan B it seems after the sweeping coronavirus pandemic prevented her scheduled lavish and public spring ceremony. Beatrice expected to marry in May but her plans were scuttled by the isolation and lockdown period brought about by the pandemic.
A palace statement confirmed the event: “The private wedding ceremony of Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi took place at 11 am on Friday 17th July at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor. The small ceremony was attended by The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, and close family. The wedding took place in accordance with all relevant Government Guidelines.”

The happy newlyweds have not yet commented publicly on the nuptials, nor have her family. At the time of her engagement, the family showered Beatrice with congratulations. Her parents shared their excitement for the couple with a statement that read, “We are thrilled that Beatrice and Edoardo have got engaged, having watched their relationship develop with pride. We are the lucky parents of a wonderful daughter who has found her love and companion in a completely devoted friend and loyal young man. We send them every good wish for a wonderful family future.”
At that time the couple’s only other child, Princess Eugenie splashed a bright pic of the couple on her Insta with the enthusiastic and eloquent words, “Beabea – wow! I’m so happy for you my dearest big sissy and dear Edo. It’s been a long time coming and you two are meant to be. ? by me!! “
