Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Have Relocated To Low-Key Santa Barbara

 

The population sign for Santa Barbara, California, needs to be changed to reflect its latest influx, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and son Archie. Fresh off moves from the UK to Canada to Los Angeles, the family has reportedly once again pulled up stakes to settle in the coastal community.

According to People magazine, the pair are now in a home in a beautiful area.

Are Meghan Now Settled Into Domestic Bliss In Santa Barbara?

A rep for the couple told People, “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved into their family home in July of this year. They have settled into the quiet privacy of their community since their arrival and hope that this will be respected for their neighbors, as well as for them as a family.”

In addition, a source told Page Six that Harry and Meghan desire to raise little Archie to enjoy, “as normal a life as possible.”

Their latest stop on their house hopping tour was at Tyler Perry’s digs in Los Angeles. Before that, they were housed in an anonymous benefactor’s mansion in Vancouver, Canada. And before that, they lived like kings on the UK taxpayers dime.

In Santa Barbara, the Markles will be closer to Oprah Winfrey who lives in the ultra-rich Montecito community.
Despite wanting privacy and freedom, the two have been pictured doing some PR-y activities like delivering food to COVID shut-ins and visiting former gang members and convicts.

They were also shown driving around in a gas-guzzling Escalade after trying to shame the public into using environmentally friendly transportation. Oopsie. Maybe they think the paparazzi doesn’t know where Santa Barbara is?

Harry And Meghan Have Been Spotted Out And About In Los Angeles

A friend previously told People about what the two were up to in Los Angeles saying, “Like everyone, they are adjusting to (social distancing), being cautious and safe.”

This included spending part of Easter taking meals to people who receive food from Project Angel Food, a non-profit group that cooks and delivers meals to people living with critical illnesses. Darn, I guess they won’t be able to make that a regular part of their routine now.

Project Angel Food’s executive director Richard Ayoub told People that, “What Meghan said is she wanted to show Harry Los Angeles through the eyes of philanthropy. It’s just beautiful.” I guess one time was all it took for her to do her good deed and for Harry to get woke?
