According to one royal expert, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex “did not seem to care” if their schedules clashed with the other senior royals when they were a part of the royal family.

When they were still senior royal members of the royal family, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry received criticism for posting on social media when other members of the royal family were attending their respective events. The royals typically schedule their posts to avoid competition. According to royal expert Richard Fittzwilliams, Meghan and Harry didn’t care about when they scheduled their posts.

According To One Royal Expert, The Duke And Duchess Of Sussex “Did Not Seem To Care” If Their Schedules Clashed

“In recent months Meghan and Harry did not seem to care if their activities clashed with those of other senior royals and this is no longer the concern it once was,” Fitzwilliams said.

According to Express, Fitzwilliams noted how Prince William and Kate Middleton did a great job of coordinating their schedules with Prince Charles. This represented a united front. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry rarely respected the others’ schedules when they were in the royal family. The Sussexes no longer have to worry about respecting the other senior royals’ schedules now that they are out of the family.

While Meghan’s struggles with the British media are well known, another expert claims that she’s had difficulties with others behind the scenes. She often clashed with staffers at Buckingham Palace over how she handled herself. According to Daily Mail, royal expert Camilla Tominey said that the palace staff was not happy to learn about Meghan’s constant “demands” and hated her “self-confidence and feminist habits of an assertion.”

This led to “a clash of cultures” between Meghan and her staff, mostly because the former Suits star didn’t understand the institution.

“It’s a bit like Downton Abbey – there’s a hierarchy of staff who have been at Buckingham Palace for years and years, to serve Queen and country,” Tominey explained. “And, therefore, for Harry and Meghan to be making demands, there was a bit of below-stairs chatter, particularly with the Duchess, that was, ‘Well, hang on a minute, who do you think you are?'”

Meghan and Harry moved to Los Angeles and are no longer part of the royal family. The two will reportedly purchase a home in Malibu, where they will spend most of their time.
