The project that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were last weeks reported to have pitched around is apparently a TV show that takes a “political stance” on feminism and racial inequality.

Here’s the kicker: The Markle’s reportedly will appear in the show but the project will not be about them. Instead, the show is said to focus on “normal” people, all of this according to the Mirror. Should we be offended or complimented that Harry and Meghan do not consider themselves normal?

Harry And Meghan Are Reportedly Working On A Television Show Meant To Empower Women And Address Racism

A source told the paper that the show’s goal is to empower women and address racial inequality. Both Harry and Meghan will produce the show, a project they are said to have begun pitching in June.

What are their qualifications as producers? In April Meghan was the voice of an elephant for a Disney+ movie. Harry, well, Harry has performed very well in his role as a plus-one wouldn’t you say?

Meghan And Harry Have Ambitious Plans For Television

It’s been reported that the pair had meetings with various television execs including Bonnie Hammer, who Meghan knows via her stint on Suits. Hammer is NBC Universal’s chairman of content studios.

According to the source, the ambitious pair expect to produce “worthy” documentaries via their own film and television production company. Because no one would buy their unworthy documentary pitches?

Apparently they will engage in voice-over work for their worthy documentaries.

What Have The Markle’s Been Up To Lately?

Maybe in a bid to boost their cred as doers, the Markle’s made sure to be seen in a photo op at a recent back-to-school charity event in Los Angeles. They have a few one-offs such as this to their credit, but as far as we know have not dedicated themselves to any sustained charity or volunteer effort. Give them time, they have been busy moving all around the world!

The family has moved yet again this year to Montecito, a tiny rich enclave outside of L.A. It was reported that the move was prompted by Harry’s dislike of L.A., their prior residence. Prior to L.A., they were in Canada, and before that London. Will their new house be all that and more? It is a massive mansion with immaculate grounds, a gym, and a stripper pole. If Harry can’t get on board with this house, heaven helps him.
