Meghan Markle Trying To Retain Royal Status In America – She Keeps ‘Household Staff’ In Santa Barbara

Ooh, La La, Meghan Markle is apparently infatuated with her former life in the U.K. Indeed, reports indicate that she’s attempted to recreate her lifestyle there in her new Santa Barbara mansion. Perhaps this is all done in an attempt to make Prince Harry feel at home. Who knows? However, sources have suggested that things may well be getting out of hand as Meghan Markle prances around speaking with a British accent.

That’s not all if inside information is correct since Meghan Markle has also evidently hired staff. No word yet on the number of staff or what positions these individuals to fill, but insiders have suggested that they get a good laugh at Meghan Markle’s expense. According to sources, Meghan has affected several Britishisms that just seem strange coming from an “all American woman.”

“Dahling, I’m Meghan Markle”

One of the things the new staff at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s $14.5 Million dollar mansion find so funny are some of the phrases they’ve overheard Meghan using. For example, Meghan’s been heard saying things like, ‘Oh dahling,’ to people in her home. Moreover, British tabloids report that staff, “have a giggle about it and sometimes they do impressions of her but only in a light-hearted way. It’s funny to them.”

Apparently, (if one is to believe the tabloids) the American staff are full of awe around the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. They stand around listening to Prince Harry’s accent as much as they do Meghan’s. While they giggle at the way Meghan talks, they “adore” Prince Harry and his speech patterns. Indeed, a source said, “He’s (Harry that is) very well-mannered and staff were shocked by how down-to-earth he is like a royal. He just wants to live a more normal life now in California and enjoy family time.”

Unfortunately, there’s no indication that anyone has gone gaga over Prince Archie’s attempts at speech yet.

Down to Earth Harry Lives it Up in Montecito

It’s likely that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s staff aren’t that in awe of the Sussexes despite what the tabloids would have the public believe. That’s because most of these staff probably live and work around others who happen to be cooks, gardeners, housekeepers, and more for many Montecito celebrities.

Indeed, one can imagine that these people get together in the evenings over a pint of beer and swap stories about their experiences with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Oprah, Kevin Costner, and a host of other Hollywood types who live in the area.

As for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, they probably don’t know much about their staff and don’t really care as long as they’ve all passed background checks, and are able to adequately do their jobs. After all, it’s not as if Meghan or Harry (or even Meghan’s mom) are going to go and clean a house that has 9-bedrooms, 16-bathrooms (seriously, who needs that many toilets?) a swimming pool and a children’s playground.
