Prince Harry’s Decision To Step Down As A Senior Royal Was Not A Surprise To Jane Goodall

Anthropologist Jane Goodall has just spilled details of a personal encounter with Harry, Meghan and baby son Archie that illuminate how far back the couple was disenchanted with their kingdom.

Speaking to the Daily Mail’s Weekend Magazine, Goodall recalled that last year Harry seemed dead set on Archie not growing up in the manner that he had.

The occasion was Harry’s interview with the scientist which took place at Windsor Castle. By coinkydink, that interview just happened to be published in the issue of British Vogue that Meghan guest-edited.

Goodall says that at the end of the interview, “Meghan came in to listen with Archie.” The baby was “very tiny and very sleepy – not too pleased to be passed from his mummy. I think I was one of the first to cuddle him outside the family.”

Goodall remarked that she, “made Archie do the queen’s wave, saying, ‘I suppose he’ll have to learn this,’ Harry said, ‘No, he’s not growing up like that.'”
