General Hospital Spoilers: Will Portia force Trina to leave the art gallery?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) may soon change her mind about letting her daughter Trina (Sydney Mikayla) work at the art gallery with Ava Jerome (Maura West). In a recent chat with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Portia expressed her concerns about her daughter’s working relationship with Ava.

As expected, Carly had nothing good to say about Ava. She explained about Ava’s relationship with her son, Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) and how in her mind, that led to his death. But she also wanted about forbidding any contact at all, because when Carly did that, Morgan rebelled against her. This left Portia with a lot to think about.

GH Spoilers – Portia Robinson has already made her feeling known

Portia has made her dislike of Ava quite clear. She expressly told Ava that she was Trina’s mother, not Ava. She wasn’t a bit polite on the matter and it hit Ava quite hard. But the truth is, Trina enjoys her work at the gallery. Ava has given her more responsibility and Trina definitely looks up to Ava. Trina herself has been warned by her good friend Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) about Ava’s past treachery.

Trina is going through a really difficult time right now. She and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) were kidnapped as part of Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) desire to get revenge on Trina’s father, Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews). Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) got Trina to safety, and in doing so, caused Trina to blame him for her father’s death. Trina also just recently found out about Curtis and Portia’s old friends and isn’t happy about it.

GH Spoilers – Rebellion!

If Portia forbids Trina to work at the gallery, Trina will likely rebel. In fairness, Ava has been nothing but good to Trina and they have a good working relationship. And like it or not, Ava has been a positive role model for Trina when Portia hasn’t been around. Hopefully, Portia and Ava can come to some kind of mutual agreement where can Trina can continue her work at the gallery, perhaps keeping the original plan for just one afternoon a week.
