General Hospital Spoilers: Who Will Save Sasha?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) might be on a path of self-destruction if her recent cocaine use is any indication. GH fans know that Sasha has been facing severe regret over her decision to deceive her boyfriend, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) in an elaborate, manipulative plot that she felt was “for his own good.” Still, Sasha remains unrepentant over her choice, but was recently seen turning to drug use in order to cope with the results of her choices.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sasha Numbs the Pain

Okay, so Sasha’s hurting. Who’s fault is that? That’s right, it’s Sasha’s fault. GH fans know that Sasha could have changed her mind at any given moment. She didn’t have to set out to intentionally mislead Michael Corinthos, a man she supposedly loved dearly. Yet, that’s exactly what Sasha did. Oh, Sasha’s intentions were all from a place of altruism! (Indeed, it can be argued that many who have played God like Sasha recently did, such as Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, those who have been intent on creating a utopia for “the good of mankind,” wound up hurting the so-called objects of their affection.)

Sasha’s wickedness was simply on a smaller scale. The arrogance on Sasha’s part, however, was precisely of the same type and category.

Sasha knows it too, and that’s why GH fans have watched her combat her own misery and guilt by trying to mask it with drug use. For a short time, Sasha can feel on top of the world. She can rock the photo shoot at Deception (fitting that a liar like Sasha should work at a place with a name like that … ) and have the confidence of a million queens.  Sasha can later eat like a pig, shake like a mini-earthquake, and lie exhausted but unable to sleep … later.

ABC General Hospital Spoilers & Updates – Nina Tries to Save Sasha

There are some GH viewers who believe that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) could try to step in and rescue Sasha if she becomes aware of what Sasha is struggling with. That’s because, while Nina has a difficult relationship with Sasha right now, there was a time when Nina truly loved Sasha. As many GH fans are aware, Nina believed that Sasha was her long-lost daughter and the two formed a serious bond. When the truth came out, of course Sasha’s relationship with Nina was just about completely destroyed. However, many believe that there remains a connection between Sasha and Nina. Many feel Nina was never able fully to cut that cord.

If that’s true, viewers could see Nina try to step in and try to perform an intervention. Nina might try to convince Sasha to enter rehab, and might even pay for it!

General Hospital Spoilers – Chase Tries to Save Sasha

Seeing as Sasha is Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) idiotic partner in crime, many GH fans believe he is the natural choice to come to Sasha’s rescue. These two, less than bright GH characters already share an emotional connection. Chase and Sasha may not be in love, but they’ve already shares some intense emotional moments together. It’s not beyond the realm of the plausible then to believe that Chase might care about Sasha at this point.

Should Chase discover Sasha’s new and perhaps growing drug problem, Chase might even feel that he is somewhat responsible. (Chase isn’t. The whole plot to convince Michael that he and Sasha were cheating behind his back was originally Sasha’s idea although she denied it later.) Regardless, Chase may feel it is his duty to “save” Sasha. That’s because Chase seems to have a serious case of “white knight” syndrome. He is the prince to Sasha (or any woman’s) fairy tale princess.

That said, Chase is also a cop. It’s likely that Chase will want to rescue Sasha, and at the same time investigate who was supplying her, and then follow the trail back to the source.

GH fans might agree that this could lead to more interesting outcomes than if Nina was the one to try and help Sasha.

General Hospital Comings & Goings – Sasha Goes to Rehab

Many GH viewers might agree that all the drama with Sasha at this point is a bit of a bore. Really? Sasha’s an emotional cripple now that the results of her melodramatic attempts at manipulating her boyfriend into breaking up with her were successful? Not too believable, some GH fans will agree.

The facts are that Sasha wasn’t looking forward to getting married. Sasha wasn’t looking forward to being an “insta-mom.” She should have just straight up broken up with Michael because it looked like their life paths were diverging. Sasha could have just been honest about it all.
Yawn.

Many GH viewers will agree then that Sasha just needs to get herself into rehab, get it done, get it over with … and then for heaven’s sake move on.
