General Hospital Spoilers: Trina Blames Curtis For Taggert’s Death

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) thought that her father was going to be okay after he got shot during while attempting to rescue Trina and Cameron Webber (William Lipton). The kidnapping was perpetuated by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) after Taggert survived his first attack. Cyrus kidnapped the teens and wanted to trade Trina for Taggert.

But Taggert didn’t come to the exchange point alone. He brought Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) along. Curtis stayed back while Taggert demanded the teens be freed. When Renault’s men said that wasn’t going to happen, Taggert knew he had to take action. When Cameron created a diversion by elbowing one of the men, Taggert and Curtis came out guns blazing. Taggert ordered Cameron to run. But Trina was still there. As per their plan, Curtis got Trina out of harm’s way while Taggert kept the gunmen busy. As Curtis was getting Trina out of harm’s way, Taggert got shot. He passed out, but not before asking Curtis to watch over Trina!

General Hospital Spoilers: Taggert made it through surgery

As Trina worried at General Hospital over Taggert, he was taken into surgery. He came out of the procedure seemingly fine, but after a heart to heart with Trina, Taggert passed away. His doctor, Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) said they would need to do an autopsy, but more than likely a blood clot was the cause of death. Trina was devastated, and she made it clear she held Curtis responsible.

Curtis and Trina already didn’t get along

Curtis and Trina has crossed paths once before, when he was seeking answers about the portrait of Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers). The encounter didn’t go well, and neither Trina nor Curtis really seemed to care for one another. But now, with Taggert gone, Curtis will try to keep his promise to look out for Trina. But the arrival of Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) may complicate the situation even further. If Curtis and Portia were involved when they were younger, Curtis might suspect that he, and not Taggert, is really Trina’s dad.

GH Spoilers: Considering their history this won’t be easily resolved

Given how Trina feels about Curtis, if this is true then it won’t be an easy situation for anyone. Curtis will want to be a part of Trina’s life, but Taggert is the only father she has ever known. The entire situation is very messy and complicated and there are no easy answers.

What will happen?

Will Trina forgive Curtis for getting her out of harm’s way instead of helping Taggert? Does she hold Curtis responsible for Taggert’s death.
