General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome has a history of loss and meanness

Ava has never gotten over the tragic death of her daughter, and it’s hard to imagine she ever will. Not only was she murdered, but she was also killed by crazed maniac Ryan Collins (Jon Lindstrom).

At the time everyone thought that evil twin Ryan was his good twin Kevin. Oops. Misguided Ava struck up an affair with the fiend, and in the end, she lost her daughter for good. Prior to his Ava had bedded her daughter’s boyfriend, another strike against her in the mother department.

Ava has let teen Trina intern at her art gallery and taken a shine to her. The mourning mother has enjoyed seeing Trina live up to her potential, something that Kiki never will.

Thus far being a mother figure to Trina has brought out the good in Ava, although that may all be about to change.

Trina is in a bad way at the moment, having lost her dad Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) to the raging mob war in town. The death has brought her mom, Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) to the surface, and she has no use for Ava!

It’s hard to argue with Portia’s logic that Ava screwed up her own daughter, so she wants Ava to steer clear of Trina.

That seems to be unlikely, however. Trina is finding salvation at the gallery, which is her safe zone. Recently Portia and Trina had an argument there which ended in a hug, all of which was witnessed by Ava.

Poor Ava had a tear in her eye, no doubt thinking about what could have been for her and Kiki.

Ava is a wild card, she may try to come between Trina and Portia out of spite. Especially to strike out at Portia who has basically issued a vendetta against her. Tell us what you think fans, what’s Ava’s next move?
