That’s why General Hospital co-head writer Dan O’Connor says that he didn’t even flinch when he found out that Jane Elliot was not only available, but willing and ready to come back to Port Charles.

Now, as far as what’s in store for Tracy, we do know that things will be chaotic. Isn’t that always the case in Port Charles? General Hospital co-head writer Chris Van Etten puts it this way, “When Tracy returns, her reason for returning – or the reason she gives, at least, is she wanted to see her family over the holidays. What better time for a woman whose heart may be as black as coal to come home?”

GH Spoilers: Tracy Is Ready To Clean House

Tracy Quartermaine’s return coincides with the sudden reappearance of her granddaughter, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). And according to Van Etten, that is no coincidence at all. He also says that the legendary Quartermaine family will be taking center stage in the new year. He explains, “I think I can speak for Dan and me and both in that as we continue on in this role, we hope to continue to expand the Quartermaine presence on the show. Having Jane mix it up with the Quartermaines as we continue to grow that family is a dream come true.”

General Hospital fans will certainly have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next! So far producers have not made any further comments about Tracy’s role or how long she will stay on the soap for that matter.
