Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, McCoy relates that, “Carly came from nothing. She left her parents; she felt that her father didn’t want her.” This set Carly up with a chip on her shoulder which she bears to this day.

Apparently, much of Carly’s anger to life in general and to Nelle specifically comes from the fact that Frank left her and eventually had another child.

McCoy shares that she had tons of fun working with these two. “I’m such a fan of them both and they did such a great job.”
