General Hospital Spoilers & Rumors: Peter August Actually Robert Scorpio’s Son?

ABC General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that shockingly, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) could be the son of Anna Devane with former husband, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers)! GH fans know that up until now, everyone (including Peter and Anna) believe that Peter’s father was the arch criminal, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). Accordingly, it could turn Peter’s world upside down to learn this might not be the case at all!

General Hospital Rumors & Spoilers – Anna Hated Faison

GH fans know that in years gone by, Anna Devane was a spy for the World Security Bureau (WSB), and while at the WSB academy, she supposedly slept with Cesar Faison even though she despised him. Many GH fans believe that this was totally out of character for Anna and is something she genuinely would never do. Nevertheless, Anna does not deny that she slept with Faison because of her ambition. Yet, it was only shortly after her encounter with Faison that she met and fell in love with Robert Scorpio.

Here’s the thing … if Anna got pregnant with Faison’s child and that was Peter … then had a daughter with Scorpio well … that’s not much time is it? Consider the fact that Peter was supposed to have been born in 1976 and Anna’s daughter Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) was born in 1977. That’s a bit of a stair-step series of pregnancies for Anna isn’t it? Boom, pregnant by Faison. Boom, pregnant by Scorpio. Is that really realistic?

Surely Anna might have had a bit of a post pregnancy body when she met Scorpio if she had just given birth to Peter not long before, right? Without a doubt she wouldn’t have had time to lose pregnancy weight and get back into her supermodel, double-agent, spy body.

Doesn’t it make a lot more sense then, to suggest that Peter and Robin are fraternal twins and that their father is Scorpio?

General Hospital Spoilers & Updates – Peter’s Finally Free

So many GH fans have become disgusted with Peter August and his devious, slimey ways. The truth is though, just about everything that Peter does is aimed at securing a normal life for himself. Peter has hated Cesar Faison for just about his entire existence and has desperately wanted to be free of the exceptionally evil clutches of his father. In fact, Peter feels that he has to do what he does. Peter has no other choice in his own mind if he wants to move beyond Faison’s legacy.

However, imagine Peter’s shock … his sudden relief … his joy … in discovering that Cesar Faison isn’t his real father. Of course, Peter might not be overjoyed to find out that Scorpio is his dad either, but he may find having a former spy who now works as the Port Charles district attorney a much more palatable reality than to have a psychotic, freakish murderer as his progenitor.

ABC General Hospital Soap Spoilers – Scorpio Turns off the Investigation

For Scorpio’s part, he might be horrified to discover that Peter is actually his son. After all, Scorpio believes that Peter is guilty of murder and attempted murder. Discovering that someone like Peter, someone Scorpio believes is a terrible person. is actually his child is not the sort of thing that would make for a pleasant day.

Still, if Scorpio found out that Peter was his only male heir … might he suddenly turn and try to help Peter free himself at long last from his evil past? Might Scorpio finally do as Anna asked him … and turn a blind eye to his suspicions?

Of course, only time will tell. However, if this theory turns out to be true (admittedly an unlikely event) many GH fans might agree that Peter, Scorpio, and Anna all might turn out happier in the end.
