General Hospital Spoilers – Peter August Talks To Maxie Jones About Anna Devane and Dr. Hamilton Finn’s Breakup

Peter talks about what he knows about Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) and Dr. Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) breakup and how he was the reason – according to Finn. Peter has come to realize that there is no way of keeping people’s suspicions about him from Maxie, and so he needs to get ahead of that somewhat to maintain their relationship.

He also explains how Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) are a big part of it because they brought their suspicions to both Anna and Finn about him being behind the attempts on the lives of Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) in the operating room at General Hospital and that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) was suspicious of his visiting Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) when he was in Pentonville and had implied that Peter was even behind Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) disappearance and presumed death!

GH Spoilers – Peter August Explains Himself In Regards To David Black

Peter explains that Jason and Sam, Jason especially, had done an investigation on Peter and his past before Port Charles and had taken his suspicions and investigations to Anna, and Finn had known about it too, of course with him having lived with Anna and engaged to her.

Peter had worked for the same company at the same time with the gunman, David Black (Lon Gowan) that Peter himself shot, although he hadn’t meant to kill, that was trying to kill Franco and Andre in the operating room at GH when Andre was trying to restore Franco’s memories through a memory transfer reversal process. It was a mere coincidence, and Peter said he didn’t know David Black at the time they worked together at Euro-Tech, a DVX company.

He explains it was a large company and there was no way all employees could know each other unless they teamed up on projects or worked in the same areas. He may have seen him in the hallways or break room but he doesn’t think so, at least not on a regular basis, because he didn’t recognize him unmasked.

General Hospital Spoilers – Jason Explains Jason Morgan’s Reasoning

But Jason is making a big deal out of Peter and David being accomplices because they happened to work at the same place in the past. He thought Drew Cain (Billy Miller) had known of something in Peter’s past that he wanted to hide, and that’s why he hired the gunman that he killed, to keep Andre from possibly bringing up more of Drew’s memories from when he was kidnapped out of Afghanistan, that would expose Peter, and thought that he hired the person who stabbed Andre as well.

Jason had found out that Peter had been visiting Shiloh at Pentonville also, as Robert Scorpio had much earlier, and since Shiloh knew Drew in Afghanistan, Jason ties Peter to Shiloh and Drew’s kidnapping out of Afghanistan, and the disappearance of Drew and his presumed death, as well as the two attempts on Andre’s life – all out of Peter visiting Shiloh twice to complete an interview he was going to use in a news story!

Maxie thinks Jason was trying to get something to bargain with to get Sam out of prison, even though she wound up getting early parole after all, and Scorpio- well, everyone knows Scorpio’s hatred for Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and his attitude that Peter is a genetic clone of Faison and therefore evil, even though he never had a problem with Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) her late husband.

However, Scorpio wasn’t in town on a regular basis when that went down and by the time it was known that Faison was his father it was too late for Scorpio to have the same opinion about him! Peter feels safe for the meantime, but he will next have to find a scapegoat that can reasonably be tied to all these crimes; maybe proof that David Black was associated with Shiloh. After all, dead men can’t tell tales and submit to police and WSB interviews!
