General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Just Too Nice, Needs To Learn From Mom & Go To War With Nelle

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) could very well be spineless. GH fans know that this milk toast character is supposed to be a real cutthroat businessperson. However, in his personal life, he doesn’t seem able to make a firm decision about anything!

General Hospital Spoilers – Wiley Cooper-Jones Takes Over

GH viewers who have been watching for a while are getting a little fed up with Michael Corinthos. Sure, Michael seems to be a nice guy and all, but literally everyone in his life pushes the guy around! First, GH fans watched as Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) snuck into the CEO’s chair at ELQ and began scheming to stay there at Michael’s expense. Has anyone noticed Michael try very hard to keep up with what’s happening back at ELQ? No. They haven’t. That’s because Michael’s been all consumed with a kid that he didn’t even know was his until recently.

Of course, Michael must have been overjoyed to discover that his son didn’t really die as he had once believed. Of course, it’s only natural that Michael would want to bond with his newfound kid. Yet this GH storyline has dominated everything in Michael’s life to the exclusion of all else. Michael has been angst-ridden like a teen. Michael stutters non-stop and can’t stop oozing his feelings onto everyone and their neighbor. That includes alpha male types like Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). One wonders why Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) or Jason Morgan don’t take Michael in hand and help wash away his wishy-washiness!

GH Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Is Mommy And Mommy Knows Best

Some GH viewers have commented about the fact that Michael allows his mother, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) to plot and scheme and do whatever she wants even when it could affect Michael’s life in an adverse fashion. Doesn’t anyone remember Carly pulling Michael’s girlfriend Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) aside and confiding that the younger woman was “her kind of gal?” Why was Carly so fond of Sasha? Because Sasha is also a scheming, manipulative woman!

General Hospital Spoilers – What A Great Sense Of Ethics And Morality Carly Seems To Have.

With that said, what’s the purpose of Carly pulling Sasha aside? Why it was to encourage Sasha to whisper into Michael’s ear. Carly wanted Sasha to exploit the intimacy she shares with Michael! Carly was willing to do anything to get Michael to accept her plan. At this point, GH viewers might as well throw up their hands and go along with it because even if Michael makes protesting noises, in the end, he’ll shrug and say, “Okay mommy.”

GH Spoilers – Michael Corinthos Doesn’t Know What He Wants

Everyone in Michael’s life seems to know what he needs and what he wants better than he does. For example, even Michael’s girlfriend is pushing him to marry Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), a woman who is the female equivalent of Michael’s character. If Michael and Willow ever get together, it will be time to hit the fast forward button because a snooze fest has invaded GH viewer’s television sets!

Thankfully, until now, Michael hasn’t had any feelings for Willow and he’s respected the fact that Willow is his friend Harrison Chase’s girlfriend. However, that could change. The more pressure Michael is put under, the more it seems he’s willing to go the submissive route. Some might even find themselves believing that Michael’s with Sasha because she’s kind of a mommy in his relationship or a dominatrix.

General Hospital Spoilers – Hey, At Least Sasha Gilmore Isn’t Willow Tait. Right?

The bottom line is that many GH fans are dying for Michael to say enough is enough. They want to see Michael stand up; choose for himself what path seems right. They want to see Michael be a man instead of what amounts to a frightened boy who always asks permission. Allowing himself to be a wimp with the spine of a noodle helps neither Michael nor Wile Cooper-Jones (Erik and Theo Olson).

At the end of the day, many GH viewers will agree that Wiley needs a father who’s willing to fight for himself.
