General Hospital spoilers tease that while Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) might feel as though she still has a winning chance of having full custody of her young son Wiley, the reality is going to sink in very soon. That’s because she can no longer manipulate Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) in the same way that she did a few years back.

That’s because the young handsome lad can count on a handful of friends – along with everyone in the Corinthos and Quartermaine families – to make sure that Nelle is stopped in her tracks. In other words, he finally has the upper hand in this battle. Here’s what you need to know.

As many General Hospital fans can recall, when Nelle first set her sights on Michael, he did not even have one soul in Port Charles that he could call as a friend. Times have definitely changed as he now has plenty of people in his corner, including Willow Tate (Katelynn MacMullen), Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and so many more. In other words, no matter which way Nelle turns in this town, there’s always someone who will be there to stand up for Michael or at least try to block Nelle in her path.

Michael is definitely not the easy mark that he used to be but unfortunately, Nelle hasn’t realized this. In this case, there are a lot of people who are worried about little Wiley’s well-being and want to make sure that he is taken care of. The only way for that to happen, however, is if the little tot is kept far, far away from his biological mother.
