General Hospital viewers will recall that security videos from the hospital showed TJ being dumped in front of the hospital from a van, and when Mac questioned TJ about what he remembered, he was able to give him enough information to make an educated guess about where the warehouse is where TJ was kept hostage. That, and knowing what the van looks like may together be enough clues to come up with a solid lead.
If law enforcement finds a van parked near a warehouse fitting the description of the van that TJ was dumped out of, then they may be able to ascertain which warehouse it was an obtain a search warrant – however, surveillance will need to be performed first so they can see who goes back and forth between the van and the warehouse.
If it were anyone but Mac’s brother, District Attorney Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) Mac, the Chief of Detectives may have a difficult time obtaining a warrant based on a grainy security video of a van taken at night combined with even grainier memories of TJ’s, who had been brought in with a concussion and several other injuries!
TJ couldn’t remember at first but the more he talked about what he could remember with Mac, the more came back to him. Putting the puzzle together in pieces that make sense goes a long way with Robert, who once had to use intel from disparate locations in order to put a case together for the WSB and capture criminals. But Robert may warn Mac that these puzzle pieces, even though they look like they fit together, may win Mac a warrant but may not win Robert a case!
Jordan will have to do an exceptional acting job to fool Mac when he talks to her and Curtis! Mac has been in police work and detective work much longer than Jordan was, even counting her years in the DEA and not much gets by him. We can cut him a break for not being able to tell the difference between Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) a couple of years back considering Mac saw Ryan burn up in that funhouse over twenty-five years ago!
That is something that one cannot exactly unsee! Jordan, as General Hospital viewers know, had been working with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) unwillingly as long as he had TJ hostage, and still is to some point – but it is part of a plan to take Cyrus down. However, Mac has not been advised of this and nor have any of the other detectives. Jordan, Sonny Corinthos, (Maurice Benard) Curtis, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) are the only ones who know about this plan and are working together on it.
All this has to be kept within the takedown group. Jordan maybe a little nervous that if the warehouse is found, and someone is captured, that Cyrus will throw her under the bus and expose her for being one of the earlier DEA takedown team that framed him, even though it was her efforts that got him exonerated from the charges!
