General Hospital Spoilers: Kathleen Gati Keeping Herself Busy During COVID-19 Crisis -Testing Recipes For New Cookbook!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Kathleen Gati, General Hospital’s Dr. Liesl Obrecht, is keeping herself busy testing recipes for a new cookbook!

Kathleen Gati Posted A Photo Of Herself On Instagram

Kathleen posted a photo of herself on Instagram, as she was laying ingredients out ahead of time and holding a mixing bowl (or is that a huge coffee cup!) and in a red apron. One can see baking powder, a bowl of lemons, a grater, what appears to be a bottle of vanilla or some other flavoring and some cooking oil.

If she had some flour on her prep surface one could tell she’s working on a cake. She commented, “Testing recipes for my cookbook! Made 4 varieties and none are good enough…yet!! Stay tuned and have a great night! #cookbook experiment”.

About a month ago, she made another post on Instagram where she was taking a gourmet cooking class with her husband Michael and commented, “Hubby and I had a blast at our first cooking class together @Sur_La_Table with #ChefDavid making scallops and risotto! #Yum and #FUN Thank you #SurLaTable #datenight .” While we are sure this cooking class was not Kathleen’s first foray into the kitchen, it sounds like she is very ambitious with the cookbook and obviously loves to cook, and her husband loves to cook with her!

Kathleen Gati’s Cookbook Is Probably A Covid-19 Quarantine Project

Hollywood, like many other cities, is on quarantine and social distancing, with General Hospital’s studio and most others being on lockdown until the deadly virus is under control. This is probably something Kathleen has wanted to do for a long time – experiment with recipes and compile a cookbook. She doesn’t say in the post that it will be a cookbook that she intends to sell, but plenty of fans commented that they will want to buy it, so that might not be a bad idea!

Many other television programs have put out cookbooks over the years, but General Hospital has not and Kathleen would be a good contributor, if not the sole author selling it on her own with all her own recipes in it. Can you imagine the recipes in a General Hospital cookbook compiled by the actors and actresses, and maybe named after the characters?

We could start with “Liesl’s Luscious Lemon Cake” and maybe some other titles could be “Aiden’s Attack-Your-Tastebuds-Cookies”, (Aiden Webber, played by Jason David) “Sonny’s Sinful Lasagna”, (Sonny Corinthos, played by Maurice Benard) and “Olivia’s Over-The-Top-Meatballs” (Olivia Falconeri Quartermaine, played by Lisa LoCicero). Oh, and speaking of the Quartermaines, let’s not forget “Thanksgiving Turkey Disaster” and “Panic Pizza”!
