General Hospital Spoilers: GH Alum Bryan Craig Looking For Role On Primetime Reboot of AMC, Pine Valley

ABC General Hospital spoilers show that today the soap world is buzzing with the great news that All My Children alums Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos plan to reboot the legendary soap, the same one they met and fell in love on. According to Deadline the pair plan to call the series Pine Valley and have it air in primetime.

It seems the news has escaped no one in the world of daytime with eager fan and GH alum Bryan Craig (Morgan Corinthos) tweeting: “Would love to get in on this :).”

You’ve got to love Bryan’s enthusiasm. He has been vocal about wanting to return to daytime and has posted regularly on his socials about his availability. On GH he was the son of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), and dare we say, deceased?

Soap characters have nine lives however so bringing back Morgan Corinthos would be a piece of cake, right daytime fans?

Morgan was the victim of a tragic car explosion, he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Then again, is there ever a right time to be in a car explosion?

Fans have never stopped calling for the legacy character’s return and more than once it looked like that might happen—but it hasn’t yet. Over the years Morgan’s name has been dropped and each time fans start speculating on social media that the handwriting in on the wall. Most recently Morgan’s sister Joss Jacks (Eden McCoy) mentioned his early death and she wasn’t the only one.

General Hospital spoilers – Port Charles is missing a mob son

Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) recently recalled Morgan after her own young son was nearly caught up as a victim of mob violence. Morgan was collateral damage and Sam actually dumped Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) so that their son won’t meet a similar fate. JaSam fans are up in arms, but it looks like the breakup was a long time in coming.

Todays news dropped that Live with Kelly and Ryan host Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos are working with AMC super fan Andrew Stearn and Robert Nixon, the son of AMC creator Agnes Nixon, to create a primetime AMC spinoff titled Pine Valley.

No signings have been reported yet but keep your fingers crossed that Bryan Craig gets a call!
