General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) hasn’t been at General Hospital very long, but she looking to move up in the ranks there quickly. During a recent conversation with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), Portia asked about how it would be received if she applied for the position of Head of Internal Medicine? Elizabeth said she couldn’t speak for the doctors, but that the nurses on staff liked Portia and respected her. In the end, Elizabeth advised Portia to apply which she did.

General Hospital Spoilers – Will Hamilton Finn Apply Also, 0r Maybe Lucas Jones?

It seems unlikely that General Hospital would set up the story unless there was going to be someone else in the running for the position. Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) is a possibility, but given everything that has happened to Lucas in the past year, this may not be the time for Lucas to take on any additional responsibility. But someone who might be looking to create some roots in Port Charles is Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).

He’s about to be married to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and he recently found out he is father, and thanks to Hayden Barnes’ (Rebecca Budig), he is now raising his little girl. It would be easy to see why Finn would want to solidify his position at GH. Becoming the Head of Internal Medicine would be a great way to do that.

It’s anyone’s guess who will ultimately take the position of Head of Internal Medicine, but whichever way it goes, sparks are sure to fly. The situation could cause discord among the two. Portia might see Finn as arrogant and cold, and Finn could resent the fact that someone who just joined the staff at GH would apply for a position so quickly. Although we haven’t seen that much of Portia’s skills just yet, she seems like an outstanding doctor. Finn is too, but he can come across as cold. Perhaps they would have to share to position, and that would bring them in close proximity to each other.

General Hospital Spoilers – Rivalry Turns To Passion

Anna and Finn’s relationship seems to be doomed to fail. If that’s the case, he might throw himself into work. And just because Portia may start out as his rival, doesn’t mean it couldn’t lead to passion in the right circumstances. And it a well-known fact that a antagonistic relationship could turn into something much more!
