The General Hospital sneak peek for this week shows some of the party preparations, as Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) come to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) home, where the couch and coffee table in the living room is strewn with party preparations; Anna tells them that Finn has put her in charge of the goodie bags for the party guests, and there are little purple (violet) goodie bags, streamers, a bag of hard candy to put in the goodie bags, and other things.

Anna is glad that Finn has discovered and unleashed his inner party planner! One can easily see that the purple party decorations relate to Violet’s name! Violet, meanwhile, is upstairs asleep in bed while the adults are talking among themselves downstairs. Of course, Violet’s party would be much better if her mommy Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) would return home, but no one knows where she is, in spite of Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) having sent people to search for her. Perhaps Anna should contact her people in the WSB to mount a search, she may have better luck through them!

Violet misses her mommy, no matter how good a future stepmother Anna is being to her and no matter how much her daddy loves her and she loves Anna and her daddy, it’s just not the same without her mommy, and Finn and Anna know it! Even Peter could have contacts from the DVX looking for her if he wanted to, even though the DVX tends not to have happy outcomes when they hunt someone down!

GH Spoilers – What Else Might Dr. Hamilton Finn Have Planned For Violet Barnes’ Birthday Party?

General Hospital viewers might wonder what else that Finn might have planned for Violet’s party; spoilers indicate that for a first-time party planner, Finn will go all out to make his little girl surprised and happy! Not as happy as seeing Mommy back home, but he will try to make it as close to that as he can! Perhaps he will hire clowns, maybe a band to play music, and maybe even have a pony ride set up in the back yard!

Long story short, Finn will want to make this party as special as he can for his little girl, hoping to counteract some of the negative feelings and fears the little girl has about her missing mommy and making her world brighter even if only just for a few hours! Finn might be new at being a daddy, but he is learning quickly and he is very in touch with Violet’s world and her feelings – and one has to wonder if his reconciliation with Anna may have been influenced by Violet’s attachment to her just as much as his making peace with Peter, who Violet also adores.

General Hospital viewers will recall when Finn and Anna were broken up how much Violet missed Anna, and it wasn’t fair for her to lose another mother figure in her life.
