General Hospital Spoilers: Duke Lavery’s Ghost Escorts Julian To The Afterlife?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) is coming back to the show! But Duke is most certainly dead, so what’s going on? Ian Buchanan recently mentioned to a fan that he was making a ghostly appearance in the next few days! But what has stirred Duke’s spirit enough to make him return? It could be for a couple reasons, so let’s take a look.

General Hospital Spoilers – Anna DeVane’s wedding is approaching

As viewers know, the love of Duke’s life was Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). And although Anna has been involved with several men romantically since Duke died, she is actually about to marry Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). Anna may become a bit nostalgic, thinking fondly of Duke. Duke’s spirit may simply come back to let Anna know that it is ok to move on. But it seems more likely that Duke will be visiting someone he doesn’t have a good relationship with. In fact, Duke’s spectral visit could be a simple ghostly warning for Finn!

GH Spoilers – Maybe Duke Lavery Will Haunt Hamilton Finn!

It’s certainly possible that Duke will want to put a good scare into Finn in order to make sure the doctor treats Anna well once they become man and wife. Duke can’t be with Anna anymore, but he will want to see her happy and may decide that Finn needs to know that he is looking out for Anna, even from beyond the grave. Duke isn’t going to be sticking around though, so it seems most likely that he is just going to show up for a specific task. And that task more than likely has everything to do with Julian!

General Hospital Spoilers – Duke Lavery And Julian Jerome Have A Past

Julian was actually responsible for Duke’s death. In truth, Julian had Duke killed twice, although once Duke didn’t actually die, but instead entered witness protection. So if Julian is indeed about to meet his maker for real, Duke might just take great pleasure in escorting Julian to his afterlife, whatever that will end up being. Julian days are most certainly numbered, so it would make sense that he would see Duke as he is dying.
