General Hospital Spoilers: Dev’s Cover Story In Jeopardy – Will Brando Go Along With The Scam?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dev Cerci’s (Ashton Arbab) cover story may soon be in jeopardy. As viewers know, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) made a deal with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), and had papers drawn up that stated Dev was the son of her supposedly deceased son, Brando Corbin (Johnny Waycor).

But during the recent shootout at Sonny’s coffee warehouse, Brando showed up, saving Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) life in the process. While it’s too soon to tell if Brando is a friend or foe to the Corinthos family, his presence will likely impact Dev almost immediately. Will he go along with Sonny’s cover story.

Dev is actually in the country illegally. He came here from Turkey seeking Sonny’s help. When Sonny was in Turkey last year to find his son, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna), Dev provided Sonny with assistance. So when Dev showed up in Port Charles, Sonny was obliged to help him. He had the papers drawn up with the cover story. But will Brando go along with the story?

Now that he’s alive and legally listed at Dev’s father, he could blow Dev’s cover story wide open. This could lead to quite a bit of legal trouble for Sonny, and Dev could get deported! It seems Sonny will definitely need to ask for Brando’s help, but will he? Brando is a blank slate, and convincing to go along with the ruse may cost Sonny? But to keep Dev in the country, Sonny may have to play ball with Brando.

Questions remain about Brando, who is swirling in mystery. Where has he been all this time? Why did he show up with a gun to Sonny’s warehouse? Was he there to follow his mother, Gladys. Or was he staking out Sonny’s warehouse? Does he have something to do with the sniper attacks? Or is he a cop or some kind of undercover agent? He took a bullet to save Carly, but was that to further insinuate himself into the lives of the Corinthos family?

Will Brando be a friend or foe to the Corinthos’ family. Will he help out with Dev’s ruse or let Dev be deported back to Turkey?
