General Hospital spoilers tease that Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) might have some new evidence on the Corinthos case in an upcoming episode of GH!

General Hospital Spoilers: A Corinthos Coffee Truck Was Hijacked And Then Burned

As General Hospital viewers will recall from last week’s episodes, a Corinthos Coffee truck was hijacked, and when Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) security man Gio (John Lewis) gave him the details in person, he said that going forward, he wanted security visible on all the trucks. So there was no security footage that the police could look at from the point where the truck was hijacked. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was already at the Port Charles Police Station where he and Samantha McCall (Kelly Monaco) had just made a deal with District Attorney Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) regarding the restrictions on her parole agreement and getting intel on Peter August (Wes Ramsey) for Robert, so the police were called about the hijacking and Jason was called into Commissioner Jordan Ashford’s office to get more information. The police had found it abandoned and burned.

She wondered if Sonny had a new enemy. She also added that there had been no cargo and no driver in the area, and Jason explained that the delivery had never arrived but all of the employees had been accounted for. She also suggested that perhaps the driver went rogue, but Sonny had already checked on that and the driver had given the hijacker the keys and left town for his own safety, per company instructions if such a situation should happen. The driver was accounted for. Jordan suggested maybe an enemy had left a calling card in the form of the burned truck; Jason offered the manifest but Jordan hadn’t wanted to take it without a warrant, and then went to Sonny’s after Jordan gave him a parking ticket. Sonny doesn’t use his coffee business as a front for mob activity, so if someone was leaving a calling card it was someone who obviously didn’t know how Sonny does business. Sonny and Jason talked about a deal if someone did approach him about sharing the cargo space of Port Charles, and Sonny would give a chance for negotiation, or he would retaliate and make them regret it.

Detective Harrison Chase Tries To Update Commissioner Jordan Ashford On The Case

Jordan is preoccupied with the Bob Massicotte (Randy J. Goodwin) case, this was her supervisor when she was working for the Drug Enforcement Administration and she learned he died of an opioid overdose! She knew this was not like her old boss and suspects an old enemy may have murdered him, and Chase has to interrupt her several times to get her attention! Chase will likely have the forensics report on the burned coffee truck and perhaps some information from traffic cams of the area when the truck was hijacked and security cameras in the area may have caught when it was abandoned and burned. Chase will want to go over all of what he has on the Corinthos case with Jordan, but she will be distracted as long as she has the mystery of Bob’s death on her mind!
