Up to this point, Chase has allowed Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) to decide how to proceed with doing what’s best for Wiley, the son she once thought was hers. Although Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) was revealed to be the boy’s biological mom, Willow spent too much time bonding with him to just let him go.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Swickard notes, “Chase believes that if Willow doesn’t do everything in her power to save Wiley … she may not be able to live with it.”

Yet up to this point, Willow has not been able to pull the trigger on a master plan everyone thinks will save the boy from Nelle’s clutches.
