General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Puts A Plan In Motion, Sonny’s Interests Must Be Protected!

General Hospital spoilers tease that in Port Charles, NY Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will put a plan in motion in an upcoming episode of GH-Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) interests must be protected!

General Hospital Spoilers – It’s Only A Matter Of Time Before Sonny Will Have To Be Declared Dead, But That Time Is Not Now

It will only be a matter of time before Sonny will have to be declared dead, but Carly will decide that time is not now. It would not be in the best interests of Sonny’s interests, such as Corinthos Coffee, Volonino’s Gym, Pozzulo Restaurant, and certainly not his other “business” for his enemies to know that he could no longer be alive! Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) only had one henchman after Julian Jerome (William DeVry) and now both the henchman and Julian are dead.

Carly decides that she and Jason Morgan, (Steve Burton) who knows the business end of Sonny’s hidden business, must come up with a cover story to explain Sonny’s absence. They will have to keep the truth a secret at least for a while until they can finish bringing Cyrus down. As far as the Five Families are concerned, Sonny hasn’t interacted with them for a while anyway.

Cyrus may have taken over their territories too but since Sonny is the only one with who they will communicate and they haven’t tried to reach him in all this time, they can wait. As far as Sonny’s real family, only those who can be trusted to keep this type of a secret need to know the truth. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) may be told – and the small children such as Avery Corinthos-Jerome (Ava and Grace Scarola) will eventually be told but not right now. Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) knows since Carly broke down crying Christmas Eve and he ran to check on her.

GH Spoilers – A Feasible Cover Story Is Decided Upon

Jason and Carly brainstorm and a feasible cover story are decided on. In the meantime, Jax offers to have his contacts join in on the search for Sonny also and Jason and Carly may decide to let him. All the police are doing now is looking for a body and discounting that Sonny could have survived and maybe injured in a hospital somewhere. Jax reminds Carly and Jason that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) was rescued at sea after being shot out of a window on Cassadine Island. Sonny could have been too, but maybe is too injured to reach out to them and could be in a hospital.

Jason agrees Jax has a good point. He was also shot and could have died in the water but didn’t. Jason knows Sonny was not shot and his injuries would have come from the fall and possibly from some of the debris of the bridge if that is the case. They will find out that Cyrus was out of state visiting his mother when Sonny disappeared which is probably the reason another henchman wasn’t dispatched after Jason shot and killed the first one in self-defense.

They decide upon a cover story that has nothing to do with Cyrus or the “business”. They will say Sonny has gone to South America looking for new varieties of coffee beans and new sources of them for his coffee business. He is not touching base with them because some of the coffee growers are not in areas where cell phone and Internet coverage is widely available. This coffee bean search could take several months. The only others who will be told the truth will be Jordan Ashford, (Briana Nicole Henry) who has been in on the takedown sting from the start! In the meantime, Jason will handle the “business” in Sonny’s place.
