General Hospital’s Dante should have shown some improvement by now. Dante has received intensive therapy for months but doesn’t show any improvement at all. Is it possible that Dante cannot get well? Most brainwashing can be reversed but obviously, something else has gone on with Dante. Is brainwashing the only issue or has someone used a brain mapping procedure on Dante instead?

Does Dante Falconeri Want His Family?

General Hospital’s Dante doesn’t see to be interested in his family at all. Dante has given his mother orders to leave him alone. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) rarely speaks about him. Rocco doesn’t seem to ask about Dante any more. Dante’s kids have a new father figure in Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson). Does Dante need to come home to his family or just allow them to move on without him? Will Dante’s kids forget about him and want Dustin to stay in their lives?

In all honesty, Dominic Perilli (Dominic Zamprogna) was much more interesting than Dante. Dante was undercover as Dominic when he infiltrated Sonny’s organization years ago. Dominic was a funny and very interesting character. Could Dante completely split from reality and become Dominic again? Perhaps Dante will decide to get out of law enforcement and join the family business after all.

Would Dante Falconeri Give Up Law Enforcement?

General Hospital’s Dante would make a great mobster. In the Sonny special episode where Dante ran the mob, he was very entertaining. Dante was as ruthless as his father. Dante was a presence to be reckoned with. Dante was in control and made things happen. Would Dante be more interesting as a mobster?

Would Sonny allow Dante to work with him even though he never would let Michael? Perhaps Sonny will end up turning the business over to Dante after all. Jason and Dante have worked together before but it is doubtful that Jason would take orders from Dante. Could this work out if Sonny decides to retire? Would Dante ever make the decision to walk away from law enforcement after what happened to him in this case?

General Hospital’s Dante could certainly do with a personality change. Dante was so much more interesting as Dominic. However, Sonny needs his son back no matter what role he wants to play as an adult. Dante could easily decide that he’s lost too much to his career in law enforcement and make a new start. Regardless of the circumstance, it is time for Dante to come home if he’s going to return.
