General Hospital spoilers reveal that Ingo Rademacher has an awesome day job to complement his soap role as Jasper Jacks. You might see him on duty actually if you happen to visit one of L.A. county’s many beaches. That’s right, Ingo is an official Los Angeles County lifeguard!

He has posted an amazing and officious photo of himself in his lifeguard jacket and dark shades inside one of the beach towers and written a very touching post which starts out: “It has certainly been a strange year but the beaches are finally open again and I’m starting to pick up some shifts …… watching the water and doing my best to keep our beach-goers safe.

The ocean is a beautiful place but it can take your life in the blink of an eye. If you’re unsure about conditions please come and ask a Lifeguard and always swim in front of an open tower. When in doubt, don’t go out. It is an absolute honor to represent the @lacolifeguards and I wear these red trunks with pride.”

It’s clear that Ingo takes his job very seriously and there is no doubt the lives of beachgoers are safe in his capable hands.

He went on to say, “Every year the LA county fire dept. Lifeguard division makes an estimated 12,000 ocean rescues and attends to more than 15,000 medical emergency. If you have ever been rescued please share your story. I also want to thank all of my Academy instructors who ran an incredibly informative and professional class in 2019. This is my second year.
