General Hospital News: How To See Dominic Zamprogna’s New Gig, Plus Y&R Star Michael Muhney

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconari) can now be seen in, To the Moon and Back, a movie streaming online.

It is part of Eclectic Spotlight at the online service Elevent and the event is sponsored by the Sherman Oaks Film Festival and Film Invasion Los Angeles.

And while you’re at the site, you might want to check out Sidepiece which stars former The Young and the Restless actor Michael Muhney (ex Adam Newman).  Did we mention that both films are free?!

Sidepiece is billed as a romantic comedy and Muhney plays Collin.

It was written by Minsun Park and Teddy Tenenbaum, and the pair also produced the film; Tenenbaum directed the movie.  Sidepiece is a 10-minute short film that also stars Jenness Rouse.

Zamprogna’s film is a dramatic movie and he told Soap Hub, “This is a story about grief and love. And how, as a family, you can be there for each other.”

“I play Robert Westfield, a man who’s just lost his mother, and is preparing to do a very difficult thing.” He added that he lost his own mother just seven years ago.

According to Zamprogna, “This story happens in the aftermath of his mother’s death, and that’s a strange place to be. He’s not sure what way is up, or how to move forward. And that really resonated with me.”

The short film also stars Julie Romano and Danielle Rayne. GH fans will certainly appreciate the actor’s insight that the film, “Other than time and money constraints, it was very much like a soap.”

Which brings us to the million dollar question, when and if Zamprogna returns to his role as Dante Falconari on GH. The actor has indicated that he would love to come back and there is no doubt that the fans feel the same way.

If Dante returns he will find the emotional landscape of Port Charles very different from when he left it. His ex-wife Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) has moved on with a new guy who their son sees as a father figure; he asked him to take him to Father-Son day at school. Hurry back Dante, your family needs you!
