Emmerdale spoilers reveal that Charity will find out that Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) is planning a surprise birthday party for Vanessa. Charity feels it is the last thing that she needs, especially considering that nobody else knows about the bowel cancer diagnosis. So, Charity tries to convince her to ditch the party idea. However, she has to give a reason for it and that’s when things get messy.

Charity ends up having to tell Tracy the reason why the party needs to be scrapped. She reveals Vanessa’s bowel cancer diagnosis when her previous excuses don’t work. This stuns Tracy and she realizes that the party really does need to be canceled. She goes inside and tries to get everyone out, but she doesn’t do it in time. Vanessa walks into everyone yelling out, “surprise!”
