Andrea Tate’s Mission

When Andrea went missing with her daughter, Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) had no clue where they went. He instantly went into a panic. Part of him was worried he would never see Millie again. The other part of him knew that he would be considered a prime suspect.

This is exactly what Andrea wanted. Now, she might not have thought the police would be called. She hoped that Jamie would be so upset over them going missing that when they returned, he wouldn’t think of moving on with Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper).

Jamie Tate’s Distress

Emmerdale spoilers reveal that while Jamie is losing his head, Kim is staying in control. She truly believes that Andrea just needed alone time to think or was so upset that she just ran off. Kim is convinced that the two are in no danger and will soon return home. However, once the police started interrogating Jamie and searching the property, he realized that things could end very badly.

Andrea will either return home with Millie voluntarily — after making Jamie suffer for a bit — or she will be found. Either way, Kim is going to take complete control of the situation like she usually does. She will decide what Jamie needs to do and put steps into action so she gets the “right” ending. Andrea was so focused on Jamie when she came up with her plan that she didn’t even consider what Kim would do.

How This Story Could End

It is speculated that Andrea will return home with her daughter, but will find out the police have been contacted. Her plan to change Jamie’s mind about his family has now turned into a criminal investigation. She could suffer legal consequences if she doesn’t come up with a cover story. Plus, it has to be good enough so Jamie would never want to risk losing them again.

However, the truth always comes out in soaps. Andrea won’t just lose Jamie forever, but Kim will make sure she loses Millie. These are all factors Andrea probably hasn’t taken into consideration. When she realizes just how much trouble she is in, what will be her next move? We will have to wait to see what happens with this storyline.
