Eastenders Spoilers: Kheerat Helps Chantelle Leave Abuse, Gray Gets Revenge?

BBC Eastenders spoilers previously confirmed that Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer) would make a plan to leave Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith). New information reveals that she asks Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol) for help with that. However, Gray might not be willing to let Chantelle go that easily, and with his paranoia, could he try to get revenge?

It is confirmed that when the soap returns to the air on September 7, we will see Chantelle is taking a new direction in her life. Lockdown with her abuser is just too much and something triggers her to realize it’s time to leave. She makes an escape plan and even plans on talking to a divorce attorney.

Getting Help From Kheerat Panesar

Eastenders spoilers reveal that a few months back, Kheerat and Chantelle were locked in a room together. They started to open up and talk. At that time, Chantelle almost confided in him about Gray abusing her. However, she changed her mind and ended up not saying anything. Now, Kheerat is pretty observant and knows that something was going on with her marriage that was weighing heavily on Chantelle. He just didn’t know what, but he does now. According to Digital Spy, Chantelle asks Kheerat if he will help her leave Gray.

In the past, Gray has accused Chantelle of cheating on him, even though she has never strayed from her husband. He is even jealous of her working relationship with Kheerat. So, when he finds out Kheerat is helping her — or even that they have been talking — it will cause him to blow up and assume they are having an affair.

Gray Atkins Gets Revenge?

It is suggested that Gray’s paranoia about Chantelle cheating and her decision to leave him might set him off. Could he decide to do the unthinkable in order to keep control of Chantelle? Will he end up targeting Chantelle, Kheerat, the entire Panesar family, or all of the above?

One thing is for sure, Gray’s not going to back away silently. He is determined to keep Chantelle, not out of love, but out of his need for control. Plus, he doesn’t want his personal and professional reputation to be affected by his abuse being exposed. But as he loses control and begins to unravel, could there be consequences? We will have to keep watching the BBC soap opera to see how this storyline ends.
