BBC Eastenders spoilers for the upcoming week reveal that Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) will spontaneously and passionately kiss Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith). We don’t know if he kisses her back or not. But if he were to have an affair, could that free Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer)? If so, it would put Whitney back into another abusive relationship, exposing Gray.

One of those was abusive, which is ironic considering she has no idea that her lawyer is abusing his own wife. Then, to add to the complicated situation, Whitney suddenly plants a passionate kiss on Gray.

Will Gray Atkins Have An Affair?

A weekly promo did not reveal if Gray kisses Whitney back or not. So, it’s not clear if he does have an affair. There is the chance that he might let Whitney down. After all, she wouldn’t be the first person to develop a crush on a man who she views as her savior or hero.

However, there is also the possibility that Gray will have an affair with Whitney, especially since he is convinced that Chantelle is cheating on him.

Chantelle Atkins May Find A Way Out

Eastenders spoilers suggest that the affair might finally give Chantelle the push she needs to get out of that toxic relationship. For a long time, fans have been waiting for her to say enough is enough. Even after Gray beat her so badly she could barely stand up she stayed with him. For now, nobody knows about the abuse, but that could change.

Eastenders Spoilers: Abusive Lawyer Exposed?

If Gray has an affair with Whitney, chances are that she will bear the brunt of his rage at some point, just like Chantelle has. The thing about abusers is that they follow patterns. They don’t just abuse one woman, they abuse them all. It is extremely rare to find an abuser who only viciously attacks one romantic partner.

With Whitney already having been in one abusive relationship, could this be the way that Gray is exposed? If Chantelle isn’t strong enough to expose Gray’s abuse, then perhaps Whitney will be. We will just have to keep watching the soap opera to see how this storyline plays out in the next few weeks.
