When Kush got addicted to online gambling during lockdown, he had no idea it would all lead up to him facing prison time. Of course, that was just one factor. Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) increased the rent and tempted Kush to bet the house during a poker game. Then, Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) struck a deal with Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) to get some quick cash, but Kush messed up during the robbery. Eventually, he turned himself in and didn’t name anyone that was part of the crime.
Eastenders spoilers reveal that ever since then, Kush has tried to prepare for prison. One way he tried to help was to make sure his family was taken care of financially. That led to him getting the bright idea to threaten Phil. Fast forward to the present and Kush’s desperation is once again making things worse.
According to Inside Soap magazine, Kush will disappear with Alfred. Stacey starts to worry, but nobody is really that concerned. Not until much later when there is still no sign or word from Kush. Even though kidnapping a child is out of character for Kush, he’s in a desperate situation with the walls closing in on him. When he found an opportunity to flee the country, it was too tempting not to take. So, he’s not thinking rationally and certainly won’t act like his normal self.
Stacey keeps trying to call Kush repeatedly, but there is no answer. Finally, Arthur picks up the line and completely freaks Stacey out by saying they are going on an airplane. Then, Kush grabs the phone from the little boy and threatens Stacey. He tells her that she will never see her son again if she contacts the police.
Eastenders spoilers reveal that Kush knows he is acting like a desperate and deranged man. He is in a really difficult position and depending on what he does next, things could go from bad to much worse. He finally picks up the phone and makes one call to the only person that might be able to help.
Will Stacey end up talking to the police or will she not want to risk Kush making good on his threat? It could go in either direction, but we are thinking that Kush has someone pick up the child and return him to Stacey, then flees the country by himself. To find out if this is indeed what happens, we will have to keep watching the soap.
