BBC Eastenders spoilers and updates reveal that Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) are the new owners of The Vic. Now that the sale has gone through, what will happen to Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright)? Are they leaving the soap or could they still stick around as they embark on their new journey?

EastEnders Spoilers – Protecting Linda Carter’s Sobriety

As fans know, there was quite the storyline revolving around Linda’s alcohol dependency. Just when it seemed like she would die before getting sober, the unimaginable happened. Fast forward to the present and Linda is being honest with Mick about her triggers. It is what led to the decision for the Carters to sell the pub and move out. Even though it is Mick’s dream, he put it aside to protect the woman he loves.

Are Danny Dyer And Kellie Bright Leaving?

Some fans automatically assume that Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright are leaving Eastenders. Just because their reign at The Vic is over (for now) doesn’t necessarily mean they are exiting the show. Here are a few snippets of what fans wrote on Twitter,

Eastenders Spoilers – No News Is Good News

There hasn’t been any word on the actors leaving the soap, per The Sun. No news is good news as exits are usually announced long before the episode airs. However, there are always exceptions. Perhaps there is still a bit more to the storyline. They also might be planning on releasing an official statement, but haven’t yet. With the soap off the air until September, there isn’t any rush I suppose.

What’s Next For Mick Carter’s Family?

It isn’t certain what is next for Mick and Linda. Perhaps they will have some battles with Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden). He certainly isn’t happy that his deal ended up in Ian and Sharon’s lap. You better believe he will mastermind a revenge scheme, but it’s not certain if he will target Ian, Sharon, the Carters, or perhaps all of them.

We could also see Mick and Linda’s new journey with fresh stories. Perhaps they will settle into their new living space and face some challenges. Maybe their son will be featured in a story again. Or they just might end up with another business. We will have to wait and see what happens.
