DOOL spoilers reveal that Philip suddenly came back to town and wanted the CEO position handed to him. The timing was unusual since Philip hadn’t checked on his father after his stroke. He also was MIA when Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) lay on his deathbed after being stabbed by Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). Of course, there’s also the fact that just that day, Victor promised Xander he would get the CEO position.

Eventually, we learned that Philip lost a ton of money gambling. He ended up going to Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) mobster family to make a deal. When the debt had to be repaid, it was either Philip’s hide or laundering money through Titan.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that as usual, Xander can’t control his temper. He explodes over Philip’s gambling, deal with the mob and using Titan to commit a crime. Xander himself doesn’t just explode, though. He also blows up the entire situation, which gets the mobs attention. Head writer Ron Carlivati told Soap Opera Digest what we can expect.

“He blows up the situation and he starts a chain reaction. By doing that, that pulls the mob into it and leads to some pretty deadly consequences.”

Even though many members of the Kiriakis family are enemies, they will stick together when it counts the most. When the mob is alerted to Xander’s explosive reaction, Ava’s family could come to Salem to do damage control. Sure, they sent her to handle Philip’s agreement. But they might say that Ava has already lost control.

When the mob deals with the Kiriakis clan, there is a chance that someone could die. However, we predict everyone will come together to deal with the situation. They can beat Xander and Philip later, but right now, they just need to get through this alive. But the question is, how exactly will they do that?
