Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) has had a rough time with his health recently, and with the current situation with his wife, Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers) going to prison, could Victor’s health deteriorate even further? Let’s take a look.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: A Recent Stroke

Victor suffered a stroke recently due to stress. His granddaughter, Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) was pressuring Victor about Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), who she believed Victor had framed for murder. But he had another secret and the stress got the better of his.

He had surgery and seems to be doing better, but with Maggie going to prison for accidentally killing Adreinne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) while driving drunk, Victor will be losing his great love. Knowing Maggie is languishing in prison will be tough for Victor to bear, and could easily lead to medical complications.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Other Stressors

Victor is also trying to deal with keeping the fact that he and Xander Cook (Paul Tefler) switched Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Kristen DiMera’s (Stacey Haiduk) babies. If the truth comes out, not only could Victor face prison time but Maggie would learn that not only was she responsible for Adrienne’s death, but also her own baby granddaughter. Not only would it destroy Maggie, but Victor would suffer watching Maggie’s pain.

It’s been said that many people can die of a broken heart. With Victor’s health so fragile, being apart from Maggie will only make it worse. Another stroke seems like a strong possibility, and chances are Victor wouldn’t survive another one.

But another possibility is he could just slowly die of a broken heart. He never wanted this and part of her suffering is because he kept the truth from her. It may be more than he can bare. If Maggie finds out what Victor did, she might turn her back on him forever and that would also destroy him. He stands to lose a lot and he is constantly worrying that it’s all going to come back to haunt him.
