Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) will be needed to help Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Hope Williams (Kristian Alfonso) get their consciousness back in control of their bodies. Currently Hope believes that she is Princess Gina and Steve thinks he is Stefano DiMera because Rolf downloaded their consciousness’ into Hope and Steve’s bodies.

DOOL Spoilers: Technology Far Beyond

This is technology above and beyond anything that anyone in Salem has any knowledge of. If Hope and Steve are to come back, they need Rolf to make it happen. Rolf will likely not be easy to find, he has a lot of experience in sliding under the radar. But Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will search high and low until he finds Rolf.

But Rolf may not be easily persuaded to help. Rolf is extremely loyal to Stefano, and convincing him to help won’t be easy. Rolf was took a cyanide pill in order to keep from giving Susan Banks (Stacey Haiduk) away when she had taken Will Horton (Chandler Massey). Rolf has an inordinate amount of loyalty but it doesn’t really seem to work both ways.

Perhaps Rolf should be reminded that “Stefano” framed Rolf for pushing Jennifer Horton (Missy Reeves) over the balcony, causing Jennifer to be in a coma for a year. When it became clear that the footage from the security cameras were doctored to show that Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) pushed Jennifer, “Stefano” had Rolf’s image inserted into the footage in order to protect Princess Gina.

“Stefano” was sure that Rolf would take one for the team? Stefano has taken advantage of Rolf’s abilities and his loyalty for a long time, perhaps that will sway him?

DOOL Spoilers: Stefano Would Sell Him Out

The truth is, Stefano would sell Rolf out in a heartbeat in order to achieve his goals. Perhaps Rolf will begin to realize this and will help to restore Hope and Steve. That’s assuming that Rolf even left a way for them to be returned. But hopefully, he left a failsafe. Hope and Steve’s friends and family need them back!
