According to the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Tripp has one year left of medical school. He has been doing extremely well with his studies. But for his final year, he wants to attend medical school in Salem (who knew the small fictional town even had a medical school!?)

However, Tripp is worried that Kayla won’t be on board with it because of it being a conflict of interest. So, Steve suggests they talk to Kayla together.

Dr. Kayla Brady Loves Him Like Her Own

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Kayla is more than happy to grant Tripp his request. Adams told the magazine that Kayla really does love Tripp like he is her own son. This is interesting since the relationship didn’t start out this way. In fact, there was a point in time when Tripp tried to sabotage Kayla and she nearly lost her job at the hospital as a result.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Permanent Salem Stay

It is indicated that this could be a permanent stay for Tripp. Besides medical school, he will run into Claire Brady (Isabel Durant), who apologizes for everything she put him and Haley Chen (Thia Megia) through. Then, the two embrace and it is speculated that these two might actually become a romantic couple in the next few months.
