DOOL spoilers reveal that this would not be the first time that Rafe and Hope had a connection. A few years ago, they dated and were even going to get married. However, Rafe had hooked up with Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). On the day of the wedding, Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) blurted out the truth in front of everyone. Rafe had to pay the consequences and lost the woman he loved on their wedding day. As for Hope, she was humiliated and it took her a long time to move past it.

A few weeks ago, it was teased that Rafe and Hope would have a close moment. It was when they were talking about Rafe losing custody of David Ridgeway (Caleb and Kyler Ends) to their aunt, Zoey Burge (Alyshia Ochse). It was painful for Rafe because he is the only parent that David really knew. He had taken care of him since he was an infant and he was about to adopt Jordan Ridgeway’s (Chrishell Stause) son.

But then Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) and his father, Orpheus (George DelHoyo) got mixed up in the storyline.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of August 10 reveal that Rafe and Hope will have another close moment. However, fans shouldn’t get too excited about a possible rekindled romance. They are doomed and we will tell you why.

DOOL Spoilers – Doomed Relationship

Gering is leaving this fall and while some wonder if Hope will go with Rafe, don’t count on it. She never filmed her exit scenes, which means Hope will just vanish one day. Of course, they could have an existing character say Hope went to chase after Rafe once he leaves Salem.

But it’s not written that way. It seems likely that Hope will be visiting a family member out of town, on an extended vacation or she will move while Rafe will definitely have a solid exit story.
