However, they did end up recovering and their relationship is finally back on track.

After Belle filed for divorce, she had a brief romance with Philip. Then, once she got back together with Shawn, she ended up cheating on him with the Kiriakis heir. It was something that took Shawn a long time to recover from. As he stated during a recent episode, he is finally at the point where he can say Philip’s name, which is something he had a hard time doing before.

“Philip has returned to Salem to reclaim his spot at Titan, and of course there is that history with Philip and Belle. Shawn still feels threatened a little bit by Philip.”

However, Philip won’t be the only issue for the couple. Apparently, someone else comes along that is a foe from Shawn and Belle’s past. This second person will complicate their marriage and will really test the relationship’s resilience.

“Then somebody else will come into the picture who will threaten to shake up the couple so they’re getting hit from two different sides.”
