Days of Our Lives Spoilers Next Week: Kate Negotiates with Clyde, Tries to ‘Exchange’ Baby Henry

NBC Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of October 26 reveal that in Salem Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) knows something is off when she sees Clyde Weston (James Read) with a baby. Then, she realizes that the baby boy is her great-grandson. She tries to negotiate with Clyde and offers for him to take her hostage instead of the baby.

DOOL spoilers reveal that Clyde kidnaps Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox). However, he doesn’t expect to bump into anyone he knows, especially the baby’s great-grandmother! But that is exactly what happens. Clyde will have to do some fast talking to get out of this predicament.

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Koslow explained that Kate’s surprised, but not totally shocked to see Clyde. After all, he always finds a way to get himself out of prison. However, when she sees him holding a baby, she knows that something is very wrong. Then, she makes a startling and horrifying discovery.

Great-Grandson Realization

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that it doesn’t take long before Kate realizes that Clyde isn’t holding a random baby. It’s Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) son, Henry. Koslow explained to the magazine that Kate knows she has to get control of the situation. So, she thinks fast and tries to negotiate.

Kate suggests to Clyde that he give up the baby and he can take her in the child’s place. Actor James Read explained,

“There is an easy rapport between them in spite of everything, based on their serious romantic entanglement years ago. That also offers a lot of different colors to play.”

Then, Henry starts to cry and Clyde doesn’t know what to do or how to keep the child quiet. So, Kate offers to soothe the infant. She pretends to pull out a pacifier from her purse, but ends up pulling out a gun instead. Will she end up having to shoot Clyde? Will she be able to get baby Henry from the career criminal? How will this story end and will Allie ever see her son again? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap opera to find out.
