DOOL spoilers reveal that everyone seems to be keeping secrets from Lani. Eli is lying about him pushing Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) to confess to stabbing Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston). It is likely that Abe knows because Eli has been opening up to him lately. Then, there is Kristen herself, who didn’t tell Lani why she suddenly changed her mind.

Eli Grant’s Guilt

It is obvious that Eli is feeling incredibly guilty. When unconscious in the hospital, he began muttering and apologizing. Lani asked him about it, but he claimed not to know what it was about. When she pushed, he claimed it must have been about Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). Then, Lani admitted that Eli mentioned Kristen’s name.

Lani Price Grant’s Confrontation

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of November 9 reveal that Lani will overhear a conversation between Abe and Eli. She will end up confronting them both. We have to assume that the two men were chatting about Kristen. Will they be able to cover up the truth or is it time for Eli to just confess to his wife?

Head writer Ron Carlivati did tease to Soap Opera Digest that Eli will continue trying to keep his secret. However, the scribe also said that if Lani ever discovered the truth, there would be huge problems for “Elani.”

Future Of ‘Elani’

Even though Eli and Lani seem to be going through some rocky times since their wedding, we have full faith that they will get through all of them. But Eli needs to remember what he asked Lani before they got married. That there would be no more secrets or lies between them. Back then, Eli was referring to Lani not telling him about Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), Julie Wiliams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), and the exploding pacemaker.

This time, the tables are turned and it’s Eli breaking his own promise. So, they might have some troubled waters in the near future, but “Elani” will most likely make it.
