Days of Our Lives alum Marci Miller has a brand new project and it sounds exciting! She will be starring in a “high-concept thriller” series. Miller was cast as the new Abigail DiMera, which was previously played by Kate Mansi. The casting decision had mixed reactions. Some absolutely loved Miller and others preferred Mansi’s portrayal of the character.

However, it would not last. Miller decided to leave the NBC soap opera and Mansi ended up coming back to the long-running series.

DOOL Spoilers: Plot for ‘Nova Vita’

According to Soap Opera Network, Miller has been cast in a new TV show called “Nova Vita.” The plot states that there is a program that helps billionaires fake their deaths and lead new lives. However, it is teased that the new lives might not be the godsend that they pretend to be.

Miller plays Mrs. Davis, Mark Davis’ (Jared Farid Ward) wife, who comes under the FBI’s microscope after her husband’s sudden death.

“Nova Vita” currently has 10 episodes.

In a statement about the upcoming series, it is stated that it is a high-concept thriller. Bagrat Sargsyan talked about the project. He created the Armenian company with his brother, Vaagh Sargsyan, and are currently looking for a distributor. He said,

“We decided to announce the completed project now as we believe ‘Nova Vita’ will be a much-welcomed escape for TV audiences around the world facing these difficult times. The high concept thriller is a very popular genre with viewers, both young and old. We can see what has resonated on Netflix, Amazon, and HBO, and ‘Nova Vita’ will be a plug and play series for the right outlet.”

Since her exit from Days of Our Lives, Miller has completed other projects. She appeared in Gods of Medicine, Sinister Savior, The Circular City, and Emily Flutters. Since filming “Nova Vita,” the actress has also dipped her hands into Paroxysm, F.E.A.R., and My Dead Roommate.
